Springfield Clinic Main Campus Expansion

M/E 1 participated on a team to perform a detailed building assessment report for the Springfield Clinic, Main Campus East Building. Portions of the East Building are more than 50 years old with aging infrastructure. The Team identified deficiencies in the mechanical, plumbing, medical gas, fire protection, electrical and control systems and provided solutions for improvements and efficiency upgrades. Upgrades were recommended to improve performance, reliability and redundancy of critical systems while reducing energy and maintenance costs.

Recommendations were prioritized with budget pricing for boiler plant upgrades, a new chiller, air handling unit replacements, domestic water service upgrades, new medical gas rooms, new bulk oxygen storage system, replacing the electrical service with a new 480 Volt service and generator replacement.
