Our team partnered on the redesign of the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) Crime Lab in Jefferson City, MO, delivering a modern and efficient layout for the Firearms/Toolmarks, Latent Print, Trace, and Toxicology laboratories and office spaces. Through comprehensive assessments, including on-site surveying, space use studies, and collaboration with MSHP laboratory staff, we were able to optimize workflows, accommodate equipment requirements, and create a space that meets the latest standards in laboratory design. The project encompassed critical updates to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to support the advanced functionality of the laboratories. By providing detailed cost estimates, layout options, and recommendations, we ensured the final design aligned with the client’s objectives and met the Division of Facilities Management’s guidelines. The project completed construction in 2023.
