Mike is a Principal at M/E 1 and serves as Principal-in-Charge, providing oversight and strategic leadership for government, medical, and developer projects. Over the past 20 years, he has led a wide range of complex initiatives, including feasibility studies, site evaluations, planning and design coordination, and full-scale engineering project execution. Mike has extensive experience collaborating with local and state agencies, medical institutions, and private developers, guiding multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project delivery and ensuring alignment with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and project goals.

Redistricting offices on the 5th floor of the capitol. Scope included new limestone staircase, mahogany paneled doors, private offices, skylight design, conference space and kitchen.

LAMBERT AIRPORT – MISSOURI NATIONAL GUARD – ASHRAE LEVEL ENERGY AUDITING / ELECTRICAL UPGRADES
ST. LOUIS, MO
Conducted on site surveying to determine energy conservation options to improve energy efficiency. Recommendations included modifications to the entire sites existing electrical system. The project progressed through design with LED upgrades to all fixtures, including modifications to the existing incoming electrical service, disconnects, and panels.
DENVER POLICE DEPARTMENT
DENVER, CO
Project Manager on a renovation of the Denver Police District office. Renovation included training classrooms, dispatch 911 call center, conference rooms, offices, and cafeteria.
STATE OF MISSOURI PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLEX AND MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL TRAINING ACADEMY
Conceptual design for a new campus to house public safety and the highway patrol training academy. Conceptual design completed in August 2021.

JEFFERSON CITY, MO
80,000 SF project area. ASHRAE Level II energy analysis on existing facility. Recommendations included solar photovoltaic design, which proceeded through bidding and is currently awarded and in construction.
